About us

North Shore Master Swimmers started in 1981 and has grown to be one of the largest clubs under NZ Masters Swimming. We cater for adult swimmers of all ages, with our oldest member being 88. From social to competitive swimmers, from the pool to the ocean - all swimmers are welcome. We offer training sessions three times a week at the Sir Owen G. Glenn National Aquatic Centre, Antares Place, Mairangi Bay.

When

  • Tuesday and Thursday nights, 7.30pm - 8.30pm 

  • Sunday mornings, 8am - 9am 

Cost​

  • Annual membership fee: $125 (includes NZ Masters Swimming subscription)
  • Per swim session fees​: $10 ​​
  • Unlimited swim sessions​ (best value): $190 per quarter

Socials

We're a social bunch and find any excuse to have a get together! Coffee or brunch is a regular occurrence after our session on Sundays and we usually have a mid-winter dinner as well as an end-of-year function. 

Meets

For those with a competitive spirit, NZ Masters Swimming pool meets are held throughout the year, with various ocean events also running from November through to April.   Keep an eye on the NZ Masters Swimming website for details of upcoming events.
